To begin playing a band (wind, brass or percussion) instrument, you must sign up in fourth grade. Any student wishing to start band after fourth grade is recommended to obtain private instruction. See the following website for a list of private instructors

FOURTH GRADE CHOICES: These are the instrument choices for fourth and fifth graders interested in joining band - Beginner Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion.  Fourth Graders and Fifth Grade Beginners can sign up during August/September 2008 by reading and filling out a sign up form.

FIFTH GRADE CHOICES: These are the instrument choices for fifth graders interested in joining band - Advanced or Second Year Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion.

Fifth Graders who were in band last year can sign up during August/September 2008 by reading and filling out a sign up form.
